Born on 18th October 1969 and spent many of his early years in Switzerland, Francis Wanandi had envisioned to strengthen the relations between Indonesia and Switzerland since he was very young. As a Marketing B.A. graduate of Bentley College, Boston, USA, and EMBA in IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland, Wanandi’s passion in business and marketing has helped him see the abundance of opportunities and eventually connect Indonesian and Swiss businesses for years, with his vast executive experiences in Nestlé Indonesia, The Walt Disney Company, Wanandi’s family-owned Combiphar and Anugerah Corporation.

Trusted as the Chairman of Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) Swiss-Liechtenstein Bilateral Committee since 2019, Wanandi aims to open up and encourage more aspects of Indonesia-Switzerland relations: trade, investment, vocations, and sustainability. He specifically supports sustainability concerns and realises that Indonesia needs to build more awareness and information in developing ‘greener’ businesses to elevate its global business value.
