Prior to founding Public Affairs consulting firm PT Komunikasi Kinerja (Kiroyan Partners) in November 2006 that he currently serves as Chairman & Chief Consultant, Noke Kiroyan has been an international business executive for over three decades. Since the late nineties he became involved in Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives among others as Chairman of the Rio Tinto Foundation at the time and co-founder of the not-for-profit organization Indonesia Business Links that he chaired from its inception in 1999 until 2014.

Currently, Noke Kiroyan is Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce Indonesia (ICC), the international business organization headquartered in Paris, Vice Chairman of the Partnership for Governance Reform in Indonesia (KEMITRAAN), Supervisory Board member of the Indonesian Global Compact Network (IGCN) and Jury Member of SNI Awards. His decades-long involvement and interest in good governance and CSR should facilitate his participation as Jury Member of the B20 Indonesia Sustainability 4.0 Awards.

He has held top executive positions including President Director of PT Siemens Indonesia, Managing Director of Salim Deutschland GmbH, President & CEO of Salim Oleochemicals Inc. in the United States, Country Head of Rio Tinto in Indonesia, President Director of PT Kaltim Prima Coal when it was jointly owned by Rio Tinto and BP, and President Director of PT Newmont Pacific Nusantara.

Noke Kiroyan graduated from a two-year executive development programme and apprenticeship with Siemens AG in Germany in 1976 as Industriekaufmann, signifying competence in commerce and finance for industrial companies under German law. He holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Communications degree from Padjadjaran University in Bandung, Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Syracuse University in the United States, a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, and MBA in Leadership & Management from York St. John University.
